Shenglin Financial Group 2016 Chinese New Year Gala (Toronto)

On February 12, 2016, Shenglin Financial Group hosted its glamorous annual gala for over 1000 guests to celebrate the Chinese New Year, the 15th Anniversary of Shenglin Financial’s establishment and the 25th Anniversary of Shenglin Xian’s financial service to the Canadian community.

 

The majority of the guests were Shenglin Financial’s clients of many years, as well as community leaders and business owners. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent a personal letter of greetings to the gala and the company. Representatives of China and three levels of Canadian government joined the celebration. Among the attending dignitaries that evening, there were Mr. Xue Bing, Consul General of P.R. China, Mr. Arnold Chan, Member of Parliament for Scarborough-Agincourt, Mr. Ali Ehsassi, Member of Parliament for Willowdale, Ms. Hazel McCallion, former Mayor of the city of Mississauga, Mr. Reza Moridi, Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities, Mr. Han Dong, Member of the Ontario Provincial Parliamentfor Trinity—Spadina, Mr. Patrick Brown, Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, Mr. Denzil Minnan-Wong, Deputy Mayor for the City of Toronto and many others. 

The gala was filled with excitement and fun. One of the most memorable moments was the surprise party to celebrate former Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion’s 95th birthday.

Mr. Shenglin Xian, president and CEO of Shenglin Financial Group, forwarded his gratitude to the guests for their support and trust during the years. In the new Year of the Monkey, the elite Shengling Financial team has promised to provide better service to our clients and make more positive impacts to the community and Canada, a new home that embraces all immigrants.
