Shenglin Financial wrapped its seven-week Autumn Sales Contest on Nov. 7, 2012 when the company held a meeting to recognize the winners and to take stock of the fruitful business campaign.

Vice President Wallace Wang congratulated the winners for their brilliant achievements. Ted Onceanu, director for corporate development, urged all participants to redouble their efforts in the upcoming holiday season to create new record.

A total of 36 citations were issued to those who have won contracts during the seven-week period. Wallace Wang, Amy Chen and Zhang Taishan made up the list for the Top Three. Two rookies, Qiang Hong and Wang Xiaoda, surprised many senior salespeople with outstanding performances.

Speaking on the occasion, President Xian Shenglin dwelt on the effects of the competition on personal performance. “Contest is but a form of stimulation and encouragement aimed at firing up human passions to get the job done. If we can maintain this kind of strong motivation and high morale, then we’ll achieve a tremendous boost in sales performance like a miracle. Now, the contest is over, but I hope the spirit of contest will live on to carry each and everyone of you to new heights.”

Mr. Xian emphasized that the insurance business is a great undertaking upon which social stability and family safety depend. But regrettably, the financial services provided by the Chinese community leave much to be desired. That is, the general awareness of the importance of insurance must be heightened. Mr. Xian pointed out that a good and competent insurance adviser must be equipped with financial management knowledge, not just selling an insurance policy to their clients.

The meeting was followed by a dinner, at which the participants chatted freely about how to meet the coming challenge of the Christmas shopping season.
