Shenglin Financial Group Inc. hosted its annual Chinese New Year Gala on the Feb 13, 2016 at the Radisson Hotel in Vancouver. Nearly 500 guests attended to celebrate the Year of the Monkey, the 15th Anniversary of Shenglin Financial’s establishment and the 25th Anniversary of Shenglin Xian’s financial service to the Canaidan community.

Many of the participating guests were Shenglin Financial’s clients of many years, as well as community leaders and business owners. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent personal greetings to the company. Representatives of the Chinese government and three levels of the Canadian government joined the gala, among those were: Ms. Cheng Wenhua, Economic and Commercial Consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Vancouver, Mr. Ed. Fast, former Minister of International Trade, Mr. Joe Peschisolido, Member of Parliament for Steveston — Richmond East, Ms. Linda Reid, Member of the Legislative Assembly of BC, Mr. John Yap, Member of the Legislative Assembly of BC, Richard Lee, Member of the Legislative Assembly of BC, Ms. Alexa Loo, Councillor of the City of Richmond and many more.

Mr. Shenglin Xian, president and CEO of Shenglin Financial Group, forwarded his gratitude to the guests for their support and trust during the years. In the New Year of the Monkey, the elite Shenglin Financial team has promised to provide better service to our clients and make more positive impacts to the community and Canada, a new home that embraces all immigrants.
